La interconexión establecida entre la tecnología, la informática y la llamada industria del sexo en el ciberespacio se ha consolidado con un vínculo firme, dando un impulso tal al Internet que en pocas décadas ha pasado de ser una iniciativa militar a un fenómeno global que también ha colaborado a la normalización del fenómeno de la explotación sexual en diversidad de formas, características, condiciones y circunstancias, más si se tiene en cuenta que el internet impulsa el crecimiento económico, amplia las oportunidades de los negocios y ofrece nuevas formas de comunicación.

Es un hecho que la industria del sexo y la industria del internet son socias en la explotación sexual global de mujeres y niñas(1) , que el desarrollo de la tecnología y la informática crece exponencialmente y brinda cobertura y más oportunidades para que los tratantes de mujeres ejerzan su comercio y con él la creación de nuevas formas de explotación sexual mediante la trata de mujeres y niñas para la pornografía, la prostitución, la cosificación de la mujer y otros tipos de violencia y explotación sexual que la convierten en un producto, un objeto para ser comprado, vendido, comercializado y consumido..

El desarrollo de la World Wide Web o red informática de marzo de 1989 a diciembre de 1990 y su posterior avance con la introducción del navegador web que permite al usuario ver a través de Internet sitios compuestos de páginas web que contienen texto, imagen, sonido, video, otros contenidos, y navegar a través de esas páginas utilizando hiperenlaces, se realiza con participación de científicos, universidades y los primeros en adoptarla fueron los departamentos científicos de esos centros educativos y los laboratorios de física.

Sin embargo no se puede ignorar que el negocio del sexo también estuvo presente, ve el potencial de la web para sus intereses y así se observa que la prostitución evoluciona en el ciberespacio paralelamente a las redes informáticas al punto que no es fácil evidenciar si la transformación de la prostitución fue al paso de los avances del Internet o si la industria del internet estimula a la industria del sexo a usar la web o la emprendedora e innovadora industria del sexo es la punta de lanza que espolea y hace crecer a la industria del Internet; el hecho es que con el internet se innova, acelera, perfecciona y a la vez minimiza los procesos en la prostitución haciéndolos más seguros y rentables.

Introduction

The interconnection established between information technology and the so-called sex industry in cyberspace has been consolidated with a firm link that further expands the Internet which in a few decades has moved from being a military initiative to a global phenomenon that has also collaborated in the normalization of the phenomenon of sexual exploitation in a variety of forms, characteristics, conditions and circumstances, especially if one takes into account that the internet drives economic growth, expands business opportunities and offers new forms of communication.

It is a fact that the sex and internet industries are partners in the global sexual exploitation of women and girls(1). That the development of information technology is growing exponentially and provides coverage and more opportunities for traffickers of women to exercise their trade and with it the creation of new forms of sexual exploitation through the trafficking of women and girls for pornography, prostitution, the objectification of women and other types of violence and sexual exploitation that make it a product, an object to be bought, sold, traded and consumed.

The development of the World Wide Web or computer network from March 1989 to December 1990 and its subsequent developments with the introduction of the web browser that allows the user to view through the Internet sites composed of web pages that contain text, image, sound, video, other content, and navigation through these pages using hyperlinks is carried out with the participation of scientists, universities and the first to adopt it were the scientific departments of these educational centers and the physics laboratories.

However, it cannot be disregarded that the sex business was also present, it saw the potential of the web for its interests and thus it’s observed that prostitution evolves in cyberspace parallel to the computer networks, to the point that it is not easy to show whether the transformation of prostitution was at phase with the advances of the Internet or if the Internet industry encourages the sex industry’s use of the web or the enterprising and innovative sex industry is the driving force that spurs and makes the Internet industry grow. The fact is that the internet innovates, accelerates, improves and at the same time minimizes the processes in prostitution, making them safer and more profitable.
